Have you been impacted by the loss of someone or something significant? You are in the right place...
Feeling lost, confused, and don't know where to turn?
For many experiencing the loss of someone or something significant in their life, it can be difficult to understand why you are feeling the way that you do, and emotions seem to be all over the place.
We have developed the course, "Understanding Loss". This course will help you recognize some of your feelings and also help you process the loss that you have experienced.
WE GET IT...
When loss hits home, it is hard to explain to anyone what you are feeling. You can even be living in the same house with someone, grieving the same loss, and still feel all alone like no one understands. This course is FOR YOU! Developed and taught by two people that have experienced tragedy, yet present the material in a way that doesn't tell you "how to grieve", but provides tools that will equip you for the process.
Imagine if...
- You were equipped to process your grief in a healthy way
- You were able to feel better about yourself and your life
- You felt better connected to those around you
- You could experience a greater sense of purpose in your life
There is a path forward that is purposeful and full of hope.
GRIEF TO GROWTH WAS DEVELOPED WITH YOU IN MIND. DESPITE WHAT THINGS LOOK LIKE RIGHT NOW, THERE IS HOPE!

Let's Talk Modules
The breakdown
MODULE 1
Getting Started
We begin the course by assessing where you are currently, and then determining where you want to go, in light of the loss that we are walking through.
MODULE 2
What is Loss
What is loss, anyway? Is there a way that we can move forward? I don't know why this is affecting me so bad...
There are many different types of loss. The death of a loved one is one type of loss. But there are other types of loss, too. For example, you may lose your job or your home. You may lose a pet or a friendship.
In this module, we will cover these questions, feelings, and more as we begin to break down "what is loss."
MODULE 3
Dimensions of Grief
Grief can be a complex and difficult emotion to navigate. It can often feel all-consuming, impacting us in multiple ways.
In this module, we will discuss the different dimensions of grief and how they can affect us. Grief can have an emotional impact, causing us to feel sadness, anger, guilt, and anxiety. It can also have a physical impact, leading to fatigue, insomnia, or changes in appetite. We will discuss these dimensions along with others to recognize the many ways that grief can impact us.
By understanding the different dimensions of grief, we can start to gain a better understanding of our own experiences.
MODULE 4
Types of Grief
Grief is a complex and often misunderstood journey. Grief can be triggered by any type of loss, including the death of a loved one, the loss of a job or relationship, or even the loss of a pet. The grieving process is different for everyone, and there is no “right” way to grieve.
In this module, we will cover 10 types of grief, giving a better understanding of the process and impact that our loss is having on us. You are not alone!
MODULE 5
Stages of Grief
When experiencing loss, it is common to have certain expectations or assumptions on how we should be processing our grief. We may wonder why it is taking so long or if we should be "over it" by now. There may be pressure from others to rush or slow down the grieving process.
In this module, we cover two different models of the stages of grief and will help you better manage the grief journey.
MODULE 6
Moving Forward
In our final module, we look at the steps and process of moving forward with grief. It's not about "moving on from grief...but moving forward with it." Grief is an individualized experience, and there is no one right way to grieve. However, there are some general next steps that can help you begin to move forward.
